Lightly hazy red - amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Light malts, a little thin, some creamy sweetness. Hops are a light orange with a pinch of hop spice. Trace of citric peel. Crisp finish. Nicely balanced and very drinkable.

One of four on my second flight of the night in The Hopping Pig, San Diego: 18th March 2014. Black body with a beige head. Roasted malts all the way here, some bitter dark chocolate notes in both the nose and taste. Mild vanilla also within the flavour, along with hints of coffee grounds. A little thin in the body, but it sat with some heavy hitters on the flight, so it can be forgiven. A decent Dry Stout overall.

Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and malt. The finish is roasty with a mild coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.
