Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Drapers' Arms, Bristol 14/9/2018. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Leafy hops, some hedgerow fruits, sweetish rich tea malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at The Three Tuns, Bristol. Pours clear orange amber with an off white head. Aroma: pale malts, grains, peaches, hint of citrus, light grassy hop. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, biscuit, honey, citrus peel. Light to medium body, average carb, light dry bitter finish. OK

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Drapers' Arms, Bristol 24/3/1018. Jet black with a slight, off-white, head. Creamy malts, some plain chocolate and liquorice leading to a dryish finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Drapers' Arms, Bristol August 2017. Near black in colour, with a slight, white, head. Aroma of liquorice, dark berries and leafy hops. Flavour had some more fruit, toasty malts and a moderately bitter finish. Hard to position style-wise, but a pleasant, easy drinking beer.

[ As Ashley Down Columbia ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat - dough alike, fruity notes. [ As Ashley Down Red Stoat ].Unclear medium to dark red amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, berry - fruity, earthy.
