Cask@Cambridge Blue, Cambridge. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is strong bittery hops along with some nectar, wood and earth. Flavour is much the same in a rather dry bittery way. Nice peak of bitterness in the finish.

Cask at Marble Arch Inn, Manchester. A pale golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of butterscotch. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, metal, caramel, and butterscotch. The body is light.

Cask (handpump) @ Marble Arch Inn, 73 Rochdale Rd, Manchester, Greater Manchester England M4 4HY.Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity notes, moderate burnt plastic - peat. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [i] [b] Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival Feb 08 [/i] [/b] This surprised me as I wasn’t expecting a golden ale but it looked pretty decent and had a nice white frothy bubble head. I didn’t really get the lemony citrusy that Glen got, there was some citrus but in fact I felt that this was quite a standard bitter flavour (albeit a good one) and really very decent.

Cask gravity at London Drinker BF 07. Pale gold colour with thin off whtie head. Hay/grassy hop aroma. Quite thin malts in mouth. Not wonderful. Dullish hop on end is grassy.

Cask handpull at Market Porter. Copper colour with thin beige head. Earthy bitter with growing lasting hop finish. Earthy hop aroma is attractive. Refreshing in mouth. Good bitter, very drinkable. The hop finish goe on forever. Just surprisingly good.
