(bottle) Clear, copper colour with a big light-beige frothy head. Sweet, aromatic toasty malt-character with caramel, liquorice and subtle dried fruity notes. Quite bitter flavour, almost full bodied with a soft and pleasant carbonation. Toast-malty taste, quite elegant and not too fat with caramel, liquorice and herbal hops from the beginning; almost dry and pretty bitter toasty and herbal hoppy finish. A balanced Doppelbock that works all day (08.05.08.).

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a fluffy blonde foamy head. Moderately sweet pale malty nose, hay-ish with light grainy accents, a tinge of citrus and herbal hops. Medium sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly strawy, minimal grainy pale malt-character with shy notes of citrus and light herbal accents; medium-dry, sweet and slightly bitter finish with herbal and light floral hoppy notes. The alcohol is almost non-detectable. Balanced and quite deceptive pale Bock (06.05.08).

(bottle) Clear, deep golden, almost copper coloured hue with a big, light-beige foamy head. Sweet caramel-malty and slightly bready aroma with a tinge of honey and herbal, almost resiny hops. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Aromatic caramel-malt character, slightly bready with a tinge of sour dough; medium-dry, sweet cara-malty and subtle fruity finish with a tinge of hoppy bitteress. Aromatic, classical Märzen (09.05.08).

(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a medium-sized, off-white foamy head. Sweet roast-malty, slightly ashy and leafy aroma with caramel, coffee and subtle dark berry-fruity notes. Slightly bitter flavour; light to medium bodied, soft on carbon. Roast-malty, leafy taste with light notes of caramel and dried berries; moderately dry, slightly bitter and roasty finish with delicate hoppy accents and a minimal sourish fruity aftertaste. Balanced and likeable Dunkel (08.05.08).

Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Strawy malty and slightly grainy taste with light to moderate herbal accents; dry and sweet-bitter finish with a light herbal hops character. Balanced Helles; classical stuff (07.05.08).

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a fluffy, collapsing foamy white head. Herbal, slightly spicy hoppy nose with a strawy, slightly doughy malty background. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Strawy malty taste with herbal hoppy notes; dry and slightly bitter, herbal hoppy finish. Unspectacular compared to the big beers of the world, but this one is through and through a clean and solid Lager (06.05.08).
