Keg at the CP&K, 15/01/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering that dissipates edgeward. Nose is grassy, light tropical fruit tang, white peppery spice, stale pastries, herbal tones. Taste comprises lemon rind, bubblegum, straw, light spice, vanilla, hint of brioche, apricot jam, mellow yeast. Medium bodied, fine to spritzy carbonation, drying close. Decent enough saison.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Mostly clear orange-gold with a fizzy, white head that settles down quickly. Lots of citric, lemony notes in the aroma, some hay, melon, grapefruit. Light sweet flavour with moderate lemony tartness, biscuits, light acidity, a little dough, tangerine meringue. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Fairly clean in the finish, somewhat sweet, with more doughy wheat bread, biscuits, subtly bitter hay, more tangy citrus fruits. Maybe just a touch flabby, although quite drinkable overall.

bottle. clear yellow, smooth white to offwhite head. aroma of wheat, yellow fruits, faint banana, balanced. flavor is a bit herbal bitter, also wheat, yeasts and hops. a bit too crazy-herbal-bitter for my taste for a wheat, but if you like euro bitter hoppy wheat, then this is fine.

Cask at Euston Tap. It pours clear bright yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is quite bright, fresh, sweet lemon & lime, grapefruit, hay, straw and bread. The taste is dry, bitter, pithy, zesty, sweet candied lemon, lemonade, green, grassy, grapefruit, lime, light soap, straw, touch of rich tea biscuit and peppery spice with a drying and zesty finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Quite fresh and bright. Drinks easy. Decent.
