Can from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - golden with a very generously fluffy head. Nose - light mango and pungent plant stalks. Cannabis. Taste - more mango, guava too. Still pungent overripe fruit, strong resin notes. Palate - close to medium bodied considering the style. Creamy through the middle and nice bitterness on the finish. Overall - the best of the three for me.

Can from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - amber with a generous fluffy head. Nose - light biscuit, pine and resin. Taste - more resin and pine. Caramel at the back, but only slight again. Extremely pungent for the style. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture. Dry finish but not too bitter. Overall - like the golden ale, very pungent. But more palate-able than the golden ale.

Can from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - golden with a generous fluffy head. Nose - loads of resin and plant stalks. Almost cannabis. Pungent and not sure it's pleasant. If there's any fruit it's guava. Really pungent and overripe. Taste - much fresher, pine and resin. Grapefruit and mango. Palate - light bodied and creamy. Dry finish. Overall - the nose on this was very off-putting. It improved from there.
