Courtesy of Craig (cheers Craig!) Fairports Annual Reunion Festival, Cropredy Friday 12th August 2016 Pours clear gold with no bubbles, tangy and unlike the others I can taste a little apple, its the best of the trio, however still a little bit too sweet for me. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov11 3.0

Cask the the Northumberland Arms, Brentford. Pale yellow colour, some white bubbles on top and apple & pear aroma. Taste is sweet, fruity pear and juicy apple. Syrupy mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, low carbonation, residual sweet finish. Quite OK.

Box @ North London Tavern, Kilburn, London. Hazy, very pale yellow perry with a surprisingly soft, easy-drinking texture for its strength. It’s a little like fruit juice in this case respect, although is clearly not so in its taste as it’s alcohol content is very obvious here. Its fruitiness is light tasting, dry bitter-sweet, with some in its nose.

Box @ The Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold. Aroma is caramel syrup, apple tart. Taste is exceptionally sweet perry pears, caramel with a light tannic tingle but it is essentially a good sweet strong perry.
