Owned and ran by father and son, Chris and Marc Lilley. Our Cidery is based in the heart of Somerset, England. Since starting the business in 2007, Chris and Marc Lilley still have a very active role within the business where they share their cider knowledge with the team and head all current development of new and old ciders alike. They are passionate about creating modern English cider pushing beyond traditional styles by incorporating only the most delicious fruit and ingredients to make delightful, memorable cider.

Box @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Cloudy orange colour. Has a dry start with a subdued sweetness, but a decent enough apple flavour.

Draught @ Earl of Essex, 25 Danbury Street, Islington, Greater London, England N1 8LE. [ As Lilley’s Star Gazer ].ABV: 4.5%. Clear medium orange color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate apple, sweet apples, red apples, light riped apples. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, sweet apples, light tart apples, medium dry, wood notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20140811]

Tap at the Cider Tap, 20/04/15. Hazed orange golden with a decent off white head. Nose is crisp apple, straw, sweet tunes. Taste comprises apple pulp, straw, brown sugar, orchard wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a sweet linger. Not bad.

Clear golden, no head. Sweet apple and pear aroma. Sour and sweet pear flavour, green leafs. Dry and sweet finish. Nice and refreshing.

Box @ Parcel Office Bar, Hebden Bridge. Cloudy yellow with some bubbles for a head. Has a sweet apple nose and decent apple taste without the suggested strength.

From tap. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, sweet and crisp apples. Sweet flavoured, mild apple citric. Lingering fruity.
