GBBF Day 3. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is slightly soft with modest fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, touch of cream. Modest orange marmalde. Light floralness, little lemon. Light finish. Light and drinkable but lacking hop punch.

Draught at the GBBF. IPA with coarse, loose, somewhat milky, snow white head and light hazy ’old gold’ colour with peachy hue. Aroma of orange peel, dried apricot, white bread crust, pineapple, and when warming up, the lovely grapefruity and piney hop fragrance I expected. Crisp, clean fruity taste, rounded with soft caramelly malt base, sweetish honey touch even, soft carbo, ending in a resiny, citrussy, elegant hop character, strong and bold but not too agressive, in fact remaining relatively mild, but lasting for a long time. Balanced, elegant IPA.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-apricot color with a huge fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy, chalky and herbal with strong tropical fruits and sugar. The flavor was dry, bitter, dough and chalky with tropical fruits and perfume. Long finish. Medium body. Interesting.
