Four Quarters embodies the cycle of life that each ingredient makes on its way to your glass. A seed is carefully planted and nurtured, growing with the energy of the sun, Earth, wind, and rain. Its fruits are harvested, later the seeds, and the cycle of life starts again. Our logo, the moon phases, encapsulates this cycle, present in every living thing. When we create, we are celebrating the Earth and everything that grows within.
It is our hope, that by thoughtfully crafting each and every beer with this cycle in mind, we can pass to our drinker, not just a glass of delicious brew, but our passion, our love, and our thankfulness, for all things in our natural world. If you’re ever in Vermont, we’d love to have you come visit our taproom.
We also distribute our beer throughout Vermont, Maine, and eastern Massachusetts.

16 oz can. The aroma and flavor are a mirror. Softly, roasted malt backbone with notes of coffee and chocolate. The mouth feel and body are a little bit lacking, but certainly not completely disappointing. Just average for me.

16 oz can. Rich malty, bready aromas. Overall the palate is sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. A lot of dough, toffee, yeast. Hints of dark fruit. Mouthfeel is a touch on the thin side. A decent representation of the style.

16 oz. can. Appearance is a deep mahogany-like color. Aroma, shows, pumpernickel, bread, toffee, and yeast. Flavor of dates, prunes, figs. Mouthfeel is nice with hidden alcohol. Exactly what I was expecting.

Pours slightly hazed gold into a shaker. White head quickly dissipates to nothing. Hay and pepper aromas. Crisp with sweet lemon and mildly tart underripe tomato upfront turning to herbed bread and biscuit in the medium length finish.

16 oz. can. Flavor is mild cherry underneath orange and a soft lactic acid. Perfect carbonation that dances over the palate. Very well balanced between fruit and sourness. Very approachable sour ale.

Another Belgian style strong quite the beer run this week. Amber fairly dark pour. Nose is dark fruits and bread. Tastes of plum, dark cherry, tobacco, figs, raisins, some spicing cardamon, cloves. Smooth enough. Hides abv.
