Pint can pours with a nice deep dark black colored body that supports a lasting mocha head of foam. The aroma offers up chocolate, boozy rum soaked hard candy, a hit of maple spiciness and then a sense of tangy lactose. The taste delivers a pleasing full mouth feel for a barrel aged beer. This mouth feel pulls up notes of chocolate laced with dark roasted malts and then sweeter notes as the booze ramps up to reveal a sugary rum like sensation. In the background are thinner flavors of spicy maple and then a faint lactose character that tries to reach back and connect with the subtle yet supple chocolate notes. This works pretty well. Solid sipper.

16 Oz can from John, thanks! Consumed 11/12/22. Slightly murky yellowish color, fairly strong lace. Spice, yeast, wheat, grains, lemon pepper, and funk. Tons of flavor. Lively carbonation. Terroir. Tasty beer.

Pale peach color with sour aroma. Flavor is sweet and tart with a slightly funky sour acid finish. Nice and balanced.

On tap at the brewery pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice big bourbon barrel vanilla rich roast malts coffee. Taste is more of the nice big bourbon barrel goodness chocolate rich roast.
