32oz crowler pours with a dirty filthy muddy pale gold colored body that supports a lasting off white head. The aroma offers up floral like guava, sweet sugary malts and then a slightly odd blend of pine and mango. The taste delivers smooth integrated balance IPA goodness. I get modest levels of guava and mango as well as a sense of pine hop to floral hop like bitterness. This drinks fine.

Pint can pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up boozy bourbon like barrel character as well as soft malt sweetness and boozy booziness, a touch of vanilla and a touch of oak. Another whiff brings up soft sweet smelling prunes and figs. The taste delivers smooth supple sweet bourbon booziness that borders on being tangy and nearly tart but not tart, not out of place at all, barrel whisky sort of bourbon spirit character. To midway it picks soft sweet malts and a bit of plum and fig like sweet fruity ester. Toward the finish a bit of vanilla and somehow softened oak join in to help bring this to closure. Overall the barrel character is a little to far forward as the beer notes are well off in the background.

32oz crowler pours with a slightly hazed deep gold to copper colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up a modest level of estery fruity smelling malts as well as a bit of berry, cranberry and then some floral like notes. The taste delivers sweet and slightly dark fruity ester like malts as well as mild spicy to floral to vaguely cranberry like hoppiness. The palate softens some toward the finish as the wheat like addition bubbles to the surface. Decent offering.

Purchased at the brewery in 2018. Meant to get at this sooner. Aroma shows oak, basement, raisins, funk. Flavor shows old raisins, prune, oak, old grapes. Not bad at all considering the age.
