Tap. Pours light hazy brown with a small offwhite head. Aromas of caramel, vinegar, cherries, citrus, light nutty notes, esters. Taste has a pretty good tartness up front, cherries, malty bready notes, vinegar, oak. Turns into a caramel nutty bitter finish. Weird mushroomy note in the back.

Can. Slight haze. There's quite a bit of pale malt aroma, there's some tartness in there, but it doesn't seem like the good kind of tartness. For me, this isn't really getting it done.

16 oz. can, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma reveals a nice, bright, rustic saison yeast upfront, with gentle dry hops, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is rustic and grainy, with rustic saison yeast, cereal grains, and crisp crackery malt. Rustic, dry and gently spicy. Very nicely made. Excellent rustic saison in the new world.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a murky apricot juice colored body that supports a thin bright white head of foam. The aroma offers up apple, peach skin and lemon candy. The taste delivers fairly bright notes of tartness that exposes apricot and peach like fruitiness. Really nice. It ends with lingering modest tartness and a pleasing cracker malt sensation.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a murky mahogany brown colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up vinegar, wood, a bit of gin and a yeastinesd. The taste is predominantly tart with vinegar, gin and wood notes. Into the finish thin murmurs of vague malty notes and toasted rye bread are noticed. It would be nice to try this with less barrel character. Disappointing.

Dark brown, thin head, vanilla, peanut butter, lots of chocolate, rich, thick and delicious. Okay this is really good, getting into that dessert mode. (note: Bought some cans and I don't think they were at quite the same level, but still solid.)

Gold, slight haze, just a small head. Has a fruity, light bretty note, bitterness, big florals, nice berryish fruit. Much better than the regular.
