Om
New Bristol Brewery is a small, but daring, brewery located slap bang in the middle of Bristol. Owned and operated by us, husband and wife team, Noel and Maria.
New Bristol Brewery is our attempt to bring people together over great beer. We believe that
We have a Love of real ale and Love what we do. We don’t see ourselves as maverick brewers, but we do like to tease the boundaries of traditional brewing.

Cask at the commercial rooms Bristol. Hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is nice tropical fruit, grassy citrus hop, doughy wheat. Flavour is grainy malts, wheat, grassy astringent hop, grapefruit. Palate is grain and dry, moderate cask condition. Good. If a bit rough round the edges.

Typical bitter. Nice blackcurrants but it bores me.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 24/5/2015. Slightly hazy amber, with a frothy, off-white, head. Aroma of orange peel, pineapple and strawberry, with some slightly earthy maltiness and leafy hops. Flavour had more fruits, robust malts and a dryish finish. Good stuff.

Cask-conditioned at the Canteen, Bristol 30/3/2015. Deep gold in colour, with a big and frothy white head. Big, pineapple and tangerine fruit character, a hint of pine, grassy hops, cereal malts and lingering, dry, finish. Enjoyable

On tap at the Crofters’ Rights, Bristol 31/3/2015. Amber in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Big, floral hop aroma with plenty of pineapple and apricot fruit. Flavour was sweetish, with a lot more fruit and a moderately dry finish. Not my idea of a Kolsch, but pleasant drinking.

Cask-conditioned at the Barley Mow, Bristol, February 2015. Clear, deep, gold with a slight, white, head. Light, crisp, orange blossom and leafy hop aroma. Unsurprisingly easy drinking, yet avoid being watery, with cereal malts, a touch of citrus fruits and a decent, bitter, finish. An enjoyable low ABV beer.

Keg. Pours pitch black, a small tan/brown clingy head. Looks mean. Huge coffee, dark chocolate, roasty aroma. Taste is intense, bitter coffee, chocolate and dark malts, dark chocolate biscuit, vanilla sweetness, a lasting and clingy bittersweet finish. Very good.
