Shrewsbury Beer Share Group Meeting, Chez Sophie; 28th Oct 2019. 12 Fl Oz can brought by me and obtained from the GBBF earlier in the year. I knew none of our little tasting group of five had 'ticked' a beer from Rhode Island. Slight haze to the golden pour, white head. Sadly this wasn't a good as I'd hoped for, definite metallic/tinny feel to the taste and aroma.

355ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 19. Thanks haddock for this Rhode Island tick brought from the heady depths of CAMRA's cask ale festival in London. Misty yellow appearance, white froth. Aroma's a bit odd, like the syrup you put in tinned peaches. Continues to taste, pillowy smooth and light on the palate with distant fruity notes. Different for sure.

Toasted kibble, charred meat aroma. Mahogany, medium tan head. Rancid meat, smoke, charcoal. Medium body, easy carbonation. Dry and roasty, but unfortunately a bit too gamey.

16 oz can from Wine Chateau. Hazy orange. Pine and dough, some bread, good bit of spice as well. A little dry, a little grassy. Lots of earth. Drinks a little dirty, so I guess the name is appropriate...
