Description
We first fell in love with brewing on the stove at home, surrounded by pots, pans and raw ingredients. Tinkering endlessly, we studied the ancient art of our vocation. Nomadically brewing around the country, we learned from fantastically generous, knowledgeable artisans, honing our craft along the way.
Today, we’ve outgrown our roots as nomadic brewers, and operate out of two production sites. The first, a brewery we built in St Werburghs, Bristol, is where we focus on our core range of beers, constantly refining the recipes to bring you an ever evolving, perfect pour. New challenges continually arise and are met by our talented team of resourceful brewers, as we continue producing top notch beers whilst adhering to strict social distancing measures. Usually host to our tap room, we’re already looking forward to re-opening the York Street brewery to our friends, family and local community for fresh beers once we all come out the other side. At our second Bristol site, the Barrel Store, work continues on our complex, mixed fermentation and wild yeasted beers. Here, we serve as custodians over our barrel-aged brews as they develop on different kinds of wood.
Ever evolving in the quest for refinement, all of our recipes stem from the desire to create something beautiful and delicious.

Keg at Heidrun, 22/10/20. Clear golden with an off white cap. Nose is melon, orange peel, grass, airy malts, mixed citric pith. Taste comprises orange, citric tinged straw, melon, lemon drizzle, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with balanced hop bitterness and a light floral rinse. Not bad.

Can. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Soft haze on a pale gold. Slim white head. Nose has lemon juice brett. White grape. Some lactic notes. As it warms, there’s some peach and passion fruit. Taste sets off sweet and a little milky, with a light, herbal bitterness. Smooth on the palate. Fine carbonation. Never a hint of the 8.7%. Light lemon brett to finish. Drinkable big hitter, but doesn’t pop like I’d hoped.

On tap at The Berry Walmer. Hazy deep gold orange colour lasting white head Some toffee sweetness. Some citra on the finish. thought it would be more citrusy hop led but quite sweet up front then the citra kicks in and finish is bitter. not the best use of this hop.
