16 oz draft at Hops and Grain in Austin, Texas. I didn’t realize this was a series beer, though based on the description this appears to be the Greenhouse IPA I had. The pour is hazed golden with a foamy white head with nice lace on the glass. The aroma is leafy medicinal, lemon citrus and a bit of floral. The taste is bright citrus and fruit stripe gum. Some more of the herbal, though the sweet fruit gum dominates, almost to a point of distraction. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft carbonation and a sweet bitter hoppy finish.

Pours black with a dirty tan head that disappears mid-session. Strong roasted notes ladened with coffee greet the nose. Taste remains steady throughout with a rich, understated bitterness. Palate is thick and sticky. Mild carbonation. A very solid porter. Re-rating 04/17. Not as thick as I rembered. Carbonation moderate rather than mild, and a head more frothy than creamy. Overall rating unchanged.

Poured from 12 fl oz can. It’s not clear from the can if this is the right version IPA (the can doesn’t even list the ABV), but the barcode matches. Can is stamped on the bottom with: 044/004/16 EUREKA! Hazy golden yellow with orange hue and full off-white head. Grassy light pine hop with mild citrus up front, falls a bit flat afterwards as flavour quickly dissipates, leaving a fairly bland watery finish with just a feint hint of bready malt.
