Pours clear, surprisingly light and pale blonde. Small white head. Scent is mild, some english malts, caramelly touch (crystal malts?) fine and elegant. Fairly hidden on the hops. Taste is super smooth, pale malts, tad crystal maltyness as well. Fine herbal hoppy aroma that suits the beer very well. Restrained but not lost bitterness. Lingering maltyness. Very low carbonation, medium body. Super easy drinker, and a pleasant beer. Not the most intense bitter i've had, and perhaps a bit light in color as well, but I'm always happy with a low ABV ber this good.

Pours a quite hazy amber colour with about two fingers of pillowy white head; Pretty good retention and very nice lacing. Average intensity in the aroma, with nice malty depth (biscuity, toffee, lighter caramel) followed by rather vivid fruity notes of blood orange (mature, jam-like) with lighter citric hints. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, though lacking definition/precision. Medium sweetness and medium bitterness, both a bit amped up compared to style standard; good balance in the mouth and a not perfectly clean sweet edge in finish/aftertaste. Body close to medium, with light to medium carbonation; quite easy to drink as the style demands.

Can. Been looking forward to this, big fan of both old ales and Moor. Pours a nice dark brown colour with almost no head. Aroma is very rich, a melange of sweet caramel and intense prunes. Some dark malts in general, some chocolate, hint of vanilla. Medium body. Flavour is malty, quite sweet and rich. Loads of caramel again, but not as sweet as expected with a lovely bitterness that cuts through what there is. A very good complexity on the dark malts, with lots of chocolate, lighter roasted coffee, vanilla, lots of prune, some fig, brown sugar. Finish is bittersweet and long, increasingly bitter and surprisingly dry, with a bit of a boozy bite. Excellent old ale, makes for a good sipper that is nevertheless very drinkable.
