So this is aged a while. Medium brown. No head. On the nose, it has some pedio, some molasses, and it definitely seems a bit oxidized. This has a mellow tartness, with a figgy, molasses note. It's thinned out, and that lack of sugar and body is hindering getting any flavours across. But all told, not half bad. Just a bit limited, and maybe age didn't help.

(Tap) clear, bright orange amber colour with a small white head; aroma of jam, caramel; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

0.5L bottle pours with a clear copper brown body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma pulses with ripe dark fruity esters like plum, fig and dates as well as spiced molasses and then some booze into the end of the draw. The taste delivers similar notes with sweet prunes, dates and figs dusted with brown sugar and booze. To midway it gets into winter spices, a bit of woodiness and booze. I think with some cellar time this will improve as the esters are a bit too bright today.

50cL bottle pours with a murky copper to leather brown colored body that supports a tall tan head of foam. The aroma offers up brown sugar, molasses, prunes and figs with a mild spicy black licorice note toward the end of the draw. The taste delivers molasses and brown sugar sweetened prunes, figs flowing into a thin spicy sweetened kind of anise note. A modest degree of booze hits toward the finish as well as a murmur of sweet caramel. This is a pretty good sipper that might benefit from a little more cellar time to help further integrate the flavors.

50cL bottle pours with a clear gold body that has thin copper hues and supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up a good dose of spicy hops and spicy yeast as well as thin apple and plum like esters. The flavor is pretty complex and integrated. I get wheat, sweet apple coupled to muted spicy hops and then growing spicy hop bitterness and even a little dank earthiness woven around thin booze and honey notes. The balance is superb. I'm liking this now and I'm unsure if age will improve this much. I may need more of this.

50cl bottle pours with a hazy gold body that has apricot hues and supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers tart fruity notes, a touch of vinegar, an apple fruity sensation and then slight acidity. The taste begins with some acidic and vinegar and then gets into mild apricot fruit. It dries out pretty nice into the finish but maintains more body and richness than I would expect.
