500ml bottle @ Stable, Birmingham. Pours misty scrumpy cider yellow, light ginger beer aroma. Quite a prominent ginger beer character to taste, medium carbonation, scrumpy cider body. Light and easy-drinking. Decent.

Gravity at the Old Green Tree, Bath. Light golden, hazy. Vinegar, some barnyard funk, along with the expected apple aroma. I like the taste, it's tart with a spirited bite and the fresh taste of apples. Unfortunately the aftertaste is pretty foul, almost garbage-y. Luckily it's short-lived although it doesn't entice me to take another sip. Not keen.

500ml bottle from Fire & Ice, Narberth. Pours cloudy gold. Stewed apple aroma. Taste is of course much rosier than the clear sparkling version with a much fuller texture and palette-filling bittersweet cider flavours. Right up my street this.

500ml bottle from Fire & Ice, Narberth. Pours clear gold. Aroma of apple juice and skins. Taste is quite light for the ABV but juicy enough with a light carbonation. Nicely balanced with a modest, innoffensively flavoursome character. Perfect summer drinking.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Straw-blond with a good apple nose. It’s slightly less stated in taste but there’s still plenty of character to enjoy in this one.
