My main beer shop in town provided the tall boy can, I have it opened and pouring into a chalice glass. I determine a yellow-orange body and a barely there skim of minute white bubbles. The scent is strong with oranges and tropical, not a big surprise given the style. And the drink, I find it an improvement over the nose, more of a mix of NE and WC styles. Orange peel, cedar pine, lemons, crackers and plenty of hops. Nice full mouthfeel, somewhat dry and a decent bitterness. Pretty good overall.

12 ounce can from Trenton Road Takeout. A long way from Texas. Mahogany brown color. Frothy tan head. Roasty malt nose has hints of cocoa. Flavor is roasted malt, Baker’s chocolate and a hint of toasted walnuts. Some toffeeish notes in middle. Wonderfully smooth and eminently drinkable. Nicely done.

Can. A- Pickle, sour. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Pickle, tangy. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, sour finish. O- Definitely more sour and tangy than briney. Good pickle flavor but more one dimensional than most. Would've like some herbs like dill to be more present.

Aromas are musty dill pickle with maybe some pineapple in the back there somewhere. Flavors are similar to nose. Very briny. I ordered this one before I had tried the regular dill pickle version and sure wish I hadn't. I thought maybe the pineapple might tone this one down but not really. Not drinkable. I have to watch my sodium intake because of my heart. Drink this and not wake up.

19.2 oz. can. Pours a clear, golden color, with a small, bubbly, off-white head. The aroma is pine, cardamom, grass clippings, almond, and straw. Sweet and malty, with a bold, resinous bitterness. Medium body, syrupy, and effervescent. Quality, aggressive, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Can shared by O, many thanks! Pickle brine, sour, citrus. Interestingly salty. Not near as bad as I thought it would be.

This is my second sour pickled beer. The first one was more balanced and better. This one is really like dill pickle brine with carbonation and a little alcohol. Very salty. Tried to drink, but drain pour. Could probably cook with it.
