On keg at the Small Bar, Bristol 23/12/2015. Near black in colour, with a decent, beige, head. Toasty malts, some tangerine and dark berry fruits, a whiff of pine and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Draft house Charlotte. Translucent yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting white bead. Aroma is nice tropical fruit hop, mango and citrus rind, wheat grains, white bread. Flavour is composed of semi crisp grains, wheat, nice fresh southern hemisphere hop, mango and tropical fruit, orange rind. Palate is soft and grainy with highish carbonation. Solid.

Bottle from Bottle Baron. Hazy ruby/brown body with a dense beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of red apple, carrot cake and zesty orange. Flavour of caramel, strewed rhubarb and a light, citrus finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A great Amber Ale - I reckon it would be amazing on cask. If I’m being picky, I’d have liked it a touch stronger to bring out a bit more sweetness and complexity.

Bottle from Bottle Baron. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, tomato juice and white grape. Flavour of celery, bay leaf and pithy citrus fruits. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A subtle APA that goes down easy.

Keg at The Grapes, Oxford, Wednesday 2nd December 2015. Pours cloudy yellowy gold with a white creamy head. Fruity and hugely hoppy, but a good punchy hoppiness. Busy carbonation, lots of hoppy burps, I guess that the strength is noticeable but the alcohol does not burn and isn’t intrusive in anyway. it’s a very good beer A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7

On tap at the Adam & Eve, Bristol 2/11/2015. Golden in colour, with a tight, white, head. Grapefruit aroma with some grassy hops. Flavour had crisp malts, more tropical fruit and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.
