Can that Baz picked up from The Beer House, Hereford and which we shared, cheers Baz. Had this Friday 27th February 2026 around Jude and Baz's, Spond, Herefordshire we cooked a Chicken Tikka Masala. The aroma is leaning towards tropical with pineapple, guava and mango quite prominent. The taste is similar with some sweet orange thrown into the mix, it's a juicy beer, nice body, soft carbonation, a little resin bite, very good DIPA. Score 7.8

This beer needs more love than it’s getting. Black with a beige head. Big malty, chocolate, roasted notes up front followed by a layer of pine dank before shifting back to coffee and dark chocolate. Full bodied. The bittersweet notes keeps it dry and there is a nice hop bitterness but this is not a CDA- it is clearly a hopped up porter. Lovely.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A modest haze on this gold beer, a decent bubbly pale cream colour head but, it doesn't last. Light palate, a mild dryness, good fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin but smooth pale malts, a mild sweetness that works well in this brew. Cooling pine into a nice blend of peach and citrus, Centennial bringing citrus brightness. Light finish delivers a tiny nip of hop spice. Nicely done.

(Draft at Mother Kelly's Bethnal Green, London, 21 Nov 2025) Pale golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, pine needles, peaches and tropical fruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, apricots, passionfruit, pine needles, white bread and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, dry. Hoppy and refreshing. Very nice.

On tap at One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood on 21st February 2026. Hazy mustard yellow with lasting, shallow white foam and a fair amount of lacing. Tropical fruits dominant in aroma. Spiced citrus peel and juicy fruits in-mouth. A finish of pithy citrus. Light bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Can. Pours a dark gold colour with a tight white head, plenty of hops and fruit especially grapefruit in the aroma, the taste is medium bitterness with a dry fruity finish.
