(Bottle) Cloudy golden amber with tiny off-white head. Nice aroma - pine and citrus. Medium body with good carbonation. Taste is driven by hops from start to long bitter finish. There’s some pleasant caramel malt in the background. The alcohol is hidden. Nice strong IPA.

Bottle. Avoided most of the plentiful sediment in this one, but it’s still a bit of a hazy and dull red with a white head that’s gone in under a minute. Aroma of wheat and cherries, although i would have guessed some raspberries and maybe redcurrants too. Watery. Taste is better with a nice mix of a decent tangy wit and somewhat tart cherries. It’s refreshing and light. Dries out a bit at the end. No bitterness.

(Bottle) Slightly hazy golden with small white head. Pleasant aroma, mainly grapefruit but with caramel and vanilla notes. Great palate - light bodied with plentiful carbonation. The taste is hop driven with tart fruity notes at the start which carry through to the mid-palate where they evolve into some good, if a little harsh, bitterness for a quite long finish. The very light malt is really in the background. A little unbalanced for my taste, but an interesting beer that showcases this hop.

(Bottle) Very black with thick tan head. Aroma has wattleseed, coffee, cigarette ash. Full bodied, oily, sticky with pleasant gentle carbonation. Dark toffee bitter sweetness to start with perhaps hints of toasted coconut. Dark chocolate, black coffee and burnt toast notes develop. There’s a long sticky and bitter finish which winds up leaving a salty stock cube sort of taste. A different take on an Imperial Stout, but not in my opinion an improvement. Unusual and very drinkable.

(Bottle) Slightly hazy golden yellow with very thin white head. Pleasant aroma with dominant vibrant citrus notes, with some floral, grainy and cardboard notes. Light body with excellent carbonation giving good mouthfeel. Good taste. Tart citrusy and a little herbal in the foretaste, with pleasant light malty mid palate. Stronger, darker flavours develop, with the rye giving notes of, well, rye and some cough-medicine sweetness in the background. This combines with a growing spice and hop bitterness for a good finish. Unusual, and very drinkable.

(Bottle) Slightly hazy golden amber with small white head. Lovely aroma of stone fruit with toasty, pine and citrus notes. Light body with good carbonation. Excellent taste with a complex mix of toasty malt, spice, stone fruit to start with, developing some very pleasant bitterness for a long finish. An excellent beer, but does not seem to fit the style of "lager", but I guess they call it "Australian Lager" on the label.

Bottle, 12C. Black with a cm of tan head that’s soon a coat. Quite fruity over heavy roast - berries, mandarins, pineapple - and Bounty. A whiff of booze or is that the coconut too? Luscious, oily texture. Sweet with mocha, coconut, fudge. The fruit gets quite lost until right at the end where they do show up along with quite strong bitterness to lighten the load. The thing that I keep assuming is wattleseed in beer - a bit earthy, a bit spicy, a bit like mild roast coffee - is there too. Good stuff.
