Can on special, almost a year out of date. It does say you can cellar this nitro can. I really shook it and got a large head with a vertical pour. Black with the tan head fading to a cm after a minute. Heavily roasted aroma, singed caramel, more coffee than chocolate. Smooth texture is a little thinned than you'd expect. Few bubbles. Not all that sweet with roast, coffee, some toasted nuts and chocolate. Bitterness is slightly spicy & firmish. Good but strong for what it offers.

Brunch of Champions! Edge Espresso 6.2% Nitro Wattleseed Stout Deep inky black with dense tan foam and savory soy and dark chocolate aroma. Full bodied and rich sky smooth nitro mouthfeel. The taste is classic stout with a bitter herbal flavor I’m guessing is the wattleseed. Pretty good but the coffee is very subtle.

Edge x Beer Here Native Leaf Strawberry Gum Saison 4.2% Very pale straw gold with tons of bright white fizzy foam that was gone in a flash. Really nice peppery cinnamon from the strawberry gum tree I guess. The taste gives some battery acid type funk but probably also from the gum tree as it’s way milder than I’ve ever had in a brew and you still get some cinnamon and peppery notes.

Edge Yuzu Koji Rice Lager 5.1% Aussie beer bought on sale online as I like Yuzu. Golden with an orange edge and nice Yuzu aroma but even better earthy Yuzu zest flavor. For me the dryness is too strong and detracts from the enjoyment. Cool to get one of those cans where the whole top comes off though.

Can. Pale gold with a white head that never disappears. 3+ Weird and bad aroma of dog shit-soled boots polished with Dubbin and strawberry lip balm. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Happily the taste is a bit better - light hayish malt with a dry slightly melon-tinged finish. Low bitterness, some gum leaf at the end that is somehow sharp and dulling at the same time. Before that there are echoes of the unpleasantness of the aroma. Can't win 'em all I guess.

Can for Carwyn Collaborational. It's a bold move to do eucalypt in beer. A saison might handle it best. But not here. It ends up like air freshener. Such a shame.
Yuzu. Some lager. I mean, looks like I couldn't be bothered with notes at this stage

Quarantinnie. Very pale orange w a raft of large white bubbles that's gone in seconds. Striking zesty yuzu aroma. The beer underneath shows a little sweetness but little body. It just allows the yuzu to gradually fade towards a dry and modestly bitter finish. Refreshing.

Bottled. An unclear red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of berries and lacto. The flavor is sweet with notes berries, malt, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.
