Pale gold, bright. Medium head. A bit wheaty, low bitterness, low acidity, touch of banana. A bit sweet but that's about right for the style. One of those beers that I'd like a lot better at the judging table than any other context.

Dullish gold, thin head, medium bitterness. Not sold on the hop character. Malts are a touch sticky, which would work with the right hop but not sure this is it.

Quite pale, and bright. No head. Pale malt base is okay, hops mildly berryish and fruity. Not actually that much bitterness.

Yellow sort of colour with thin head. Kind of a smokey taste, some phenols that really shouldn't be there.

Sort of sticky pale malt, mild hop character. Definitely would like this to pop more. I like the all pale malt vibe but it's a bit weak.

Found a 12 oz can at a Total Wine in Austin earlier this month. The pour will be into an ABGB snifter, fittingly. The appearance is a mostly clear, gold body followed by a large head of almost white foam that settles to a consistent level. A traditional IPA scent, I get a nice hoppy beginning finished by citrus, straw and white bread. I lift the glass for a drink and say, well, this is okay. Cedar pine strongly, lemon, grain, grapefruit, malt, paper and a small but nice toffee sweetness. There's plenty of hops bitterness to go with it all. I had a surprisingly good IPA a couple of days ago, I think this one is better.
