Can big thanks to Leighton. It pours clear pale yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet, sugary, creamy, pear, apple, melon and white bread. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, mellow, bready, grass, straw, sugary and light creamy with a short, white bread finish. Light - medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Simple, sweet and bready. Fair.

Hazy golden coloured body with a straw glow and a ridiculously large (twelve centimetres) off-white head. Aroma of grassy and very perfumey hops with a kick of tropical fruits and a good amount of malt. Medium-bodied; Slightly soapy flavour at first with some noticeable grassy hops and a touch of malt, but very little else. Aftertaste shows some light bitterness, a hint of dry grass, some more soap and not much else - perhaps some light fruits. Overall, a pretty poor IPA with not much flavour nor complexity in this one - a touch empty, aside from that large head. I sampled this twelve ounce can that was on the border of exploding, purchased from Spec’s in Dallas, Texas on 11-November-2015 for US$1,57 sampled at home in Washington on 08-May-2016 for US$1,57.

Shaker pint draft at the Austin Ale House in Austin, Texas. The pour is clear copper golden with a smallish white head that is well formed and lasting. The aroma is some grain along with resin floral. The taste is the floral grass right away, followed by some general fruitiness and transitioning to a soft bitter in the back. The palate is medium to heavy bodied for the style with soft carbonation and a clean bitter grass finish. Solid.

Sampled at the source. Deep honey color, yes it looks like honey in the glass. Aroma is lightly floral with honey pretty obvious.

The flavor didn’t surprise me, same as the aroma with the honey showing no signs of any kind of Berry. It did have the floral hints in the back side of the brew. The floralness helps the balance a little bit yet... Still cloying. The body has the texture of honey, sweet. Nothing wrong with it if you can get around the huge sweetness.

Draft at Sample. On nitro. Last off white head retention on top a black liquid. Aroma is charred grain, mild nuts. The mouthfeel is creamy but lacks in the body. Lean side of medium. I feel like it needs more roast to help with the peanut butter flavor. Not bad, it does show the peanut butter flavor, a little more roast and this could really improve it overall. Nice to sample.

Draft sample at the source. Amber brown color, almost like a honey color. Aroma is earthy malt. Herbal. Flavor follows the aroma with maybe some rye notes. Something is a little different about this Amber that doesn’t follow the style guidelines. I really wish I could pine point it out. By buddy who also home brews could not nail down the off note. Drinkable but just slightly off.
