Bottle picked up from Landshut I think. Consumed this Friday 12th December 2025, cooking Thomasina Miers Picadillo (Mexican Chile) however this is for other meals, we were actually having Dishoom Masala Prawns and another curry of Masala Chicken with Pulau Rice and Poppadoms and Raita, however the poppadoms filled us up 🤣. 🎧 to Huw Stephens and now Afrodeutscha on 6Music. Pours hazy amber with a white head. The hoppiness is shy but it's there. Light caramel notes, bitterness is subtle its a solid marzen. Score 6.9

Can, Day 11 of my Mr Hop beer advent calendar from their webshop, Venray, Netherlands. Consumed this Friday 12th December 2025, cooking Thomasina Miers Picadillo (Mexican Chile) however this is for other meals, we're actually having Dishoom Masala Prawns and another curry of Masala Chicken with Pulau Rice and Poppadoms and Raita. 🎧 to Huw Stephens on 6Music. Pours light amber with a large white head that dropped swiftly. The aroma is certainly wheaty but also a little boozy, there are hints of banana and clove but these come through more in the mouth. Nice mouthfeel, there's a nice bite a little bannoffee. Good. Score 7.4

Can, Day 6 Mr Hop advent calendar picked this up from the webshop, Vernray, Netherlands. Had this on what is actually day 11, Thursday 11th December 2025. 🎧 to Huw Stephens on 6Music, it's Round Table and we have Fish Fingers, Chips and Peas for tea tonight 🥳. Pours rich ruby reddish brown, light hazy with an off white head. Pleasant aroma, a little wet wood, I guess it's oaky, thick in the mouth, smooth, rich, caramel, toffee and vanilla. This is very nice and drinks far easier than a 11.5% beer should. Score 7.4

Can, Day 8 Mr Hop advent calendar webshop, Vernray, Netherlands. Had this on what is actually day 11, Thursday 11th December 2025. 🎧 to Huw Stephens on 6Music, it's Round Table now and we have Fish Fingers, Chips and Peas for tea tonight 🥳. Pours hazy gold with a white head, a sticky head as it slips down the sides of the glass. There is some tangy & tart tropical fruit notably some passion fruit, but with hints of citrus. Smooth in the mouth, quite in yer' face, zappy, I like it, very good. Score 7.4

Had this on what is actually day 11, Thursday 11th December 2025. 🎧 to Huw Stephens on 6Music, it's Round Table later and we have Fish Fingers, Chips and Peas for tea tonight 🥳. Pours hazy gold with a white head that dropped to a sticky, filmy covering. Lots of citrus and with a nice lemony, pithy edge to it, the finish is lengthy and very dry. Score 7.6
