Bottle picked up from Edeka at München Hbf 26th Nov 2025 and consumed the same day on the train to Augsburg, however directly from the bottle so I can only give an average score for appearance. Listening to Tortoise - Touch, and eating my homemade cheese and ham rolls and a packet of crisps. Taste is pretty good for a alcohol free beer and has similarities to the N/A Augustiner offering. There's a nice soft mouthfeel, lingering bitterness and hops are noted throughout on both aroma and taste. Also the lack of the usual taint is a bonus. For the category this is a good beer.

Bottle picked up from Mr Hop webshop, Vernray, Netherlands and consumed at home Sunday 23rd November 2025 after a nice walk up to the local Gasthof zum Sonnenwald and a decent but not great Camarão na Moranga meal (a meal that is pumpkin stuffed with prawns, onions, tomatoes etc). Anyway onto the beer, poured a reddish brown with a fast disappearing head, a little tangy, whisky shows, light tart fruity edge. Good but not amazing.

Bottle picked up from Mr Hop webshop, Vernray Netherlands and consumed at the Wohnmobile Stellplatz, Zwiesel Saturday 22nd November 2025 listening to Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show on 6Music and cooking Beef Carbonade. We walked from Zwiesel to Regen along the river footpath today, and with short walks in Regen & Zwiesel walked almost 20km in total. Okay onto the beer, it's got a little bit of a kick, both in abv and feels like there is a chilli element here. Pours black but not a big head, what there is, is light beige warming and with a bit of a kick, thickness in the mouth, good.

Bottle picked up from Mr Hop Vernray Netherlands and consumed at home after a dirty homemade Chinese Curry, Thursday 20th November 2025 after listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music Round Table and the sad news that Mani from the Stone Roses has passed away today. Pours dirty dark brown with a large off white head, slight tart edge, is this oak aged? Very soft mouthfeel, tangy with some molasses, better than expected after initial taste, not amazing but fine.

This is a solid place to visit if you find yourself in Deggendorf on a Sunday evening and your usual go to's such as Otto's and Der Knödelwerferr are both closed on Sunday. We visited Sunday 9th November 2025, however we had been here once before for breakfast back in the summer and the food is great. Btw it is completely acceptable to just go there just for a drink as we did, it was about half and half, people eating and people just drinking when we visited. It is located slap bang in the centre of town and is in the Rathuas building which is in the centre of the town/city. Beer choice is from the Arcobrau stable of beers and the beers are served in excellent form. It's a nice venue, there is some seating outside and the front half inside is lovely vaulted ceilings, it is clean and despite being an old building has a modern feel. Btw the evening meals looked very good. We like it here and will certainly return again, okay so it is not as pub or traditional as some but it still works very well.

I visited here Thursday 30th October at the end of a brewery visit. I am sure that I saw a poster advertising an event to be held one evening, so whilst there are very restricted opening hours (see further details below) I suspect that there may well be one off events. However we have to accept that according to their own website the openings hours are Thurs & Friday 13:00-16:00 Winter and in the Summer Tues, Thurs, Fri 13:00 - 17:00. It is around the back of the main brewery building however it is directly connected.

There are a few tables outside, inside it is a one room bar, the small bar is to the left as you walk in and it appears to have just two taps but a large fridge behind the bar serves most of the breweries bottled selection. They do simple typical Bayern snack food, e.g. I saw the couple next to me eating cold meats, pickles, bread etc, there may have been more options I didn't check this out. Its a cosy place and I would really like to revisit on a cold snowy day like today (might head there this weekend) There were a bunch of 8-10 old guys playing music when we visited, it was nice and quite atmospheric. Prices are very reasonable, I liked it here.
