Bottle at the Munich Brewver Christmas gathering at Jonas's in Garching Friday 28th November 2025, in the company of Jonas and Ursula. Pours dark brown with decent clarity, there's a slim off white rim. The nose is a little dusty, perhaps a bit of chocolate. Taste is a very interesting combination, barley wine and chocolate as it states but, soft mouthfeel, good, warming and a touch boozy, actually I get a bit of Terry's Chocolate orange.

Pours light gold almost clear, perhaps a chill haze and with a white fast disappearing head. There's cinnamon on the nose, light sourness a little touch of plastic, light lemon and a little tangy edge. Better than I was expecting.

Pours a murky mid brown with an off white fast disappearing head, there's a little bit of film on top now. A touch of marmalade, easy drinking for the abv, but warming. There's a little bit of a spicy edge, nice soft mouthfeel. Very good.

Pours mid/dark brown with a reddish hue, there's a real tang with this beer, nice mouthfeel, a little watery liquorice, quite good.

Pours mid brown with a light beige head. Simple and straightforward stout, nice light roasty edge, a little bit of stock,, nice soft mouthfeel, good bite. Good.

Pours light gold with a white filmy clingy head, crisp and clean, nicely bitter but not aggressively so, good carbonation. Brisk and buzzy mouthfeel, nice fruity edge, really like.

Pours light/mid gold with a white head, there's a very light spice edge to this, nice bitterness and a nice soft mouthfeel. There is a little warmth to this owing to the slightly higher ab. Very nice.

Pours light/mid gold with a white fast disappearing head, zippy and tart, fresh, acidic but clean and buzzy. This is very nice, really zaps the tongue.

Bottle picked up from Probier, Landshut and consumed sat in Frank Thursday 27th November 2025 after a visit to Landshut Christkindlmarkt, yesterday I went to the Augsburg one. Pours reddish brown it's a lively pour, off white head. Fruity with a little twang, bitterness is also there, pleasant beer.
