Square shop unit within the market with its own walls and shutters - obviously required given the thousands of pounds worth of spirits in this place! There's no beers of interest in here.

In a quaint corner of Royal Square next to 'The Peirson'. It's nicely modern-traditional on the inside, but the large terrace in the traffic-free square is the place to be, and it catches the sun until late on. A few Liberation choices on cask and keg are available.

Behind the rocky hill on Greville Street, it has a classical name and frontage to match, but is anything but inside. This is a sports bar with a semi-traditional appeal. Three regular cask ales available when I visited, but nothing else to see here. Has a very small front terrace.

Wine and coffee shop on the corner of Broad Street in front of a monument, with a put-out terrace on the pedestrian street that gets the sun late on. There's about fifteen craft cans available, although I don't think all of what is displayed on the shelf is in the fridges - I was shown about six, mostly with quite high alcohol contents as this is what the owner likes being a craft enthusiast. They were all decent choices for his well designed and modern looking venue.

West end of the main shopping area of the capital, and as the name suggests it's wine that dominates this smartly decorated modern business. Other alcohols get a look-in though and it has a small workable selection for the craft beer seeking visitor like me, and it's in fridges.

Corner craft beer bar on the pedestrian streets behind the historic market building. Bright and airy, it doesn't have the most eclectic selection for a dedicated craft venue, but that's the same across all of the Channel Islands. It's keg focussed with four cask ales available too - with 'Purity' brewery providing the lion share of their regular brews across both forms. Modern design in a shop-unit conversion.

About as traditional a pub as you can get, especially in the capital of Jersey. Warming colours, soft furnishings throughout its open-plan ground floor with a large bar following the contours of the inner wall. Nine cask pumps carry a mostly regulars selection from the island and UK, but the selection is decent enough and some real cider clips are also on these. It's a popular place and shows sport. Whisky drinkers will enjoy this place, they have many.

Quite close to the government building, it's on the rotund corner building at the end of the same street. It only takes up some of the premises though over different floors and is plush in design, which works well with the older structure. Most of it is set-up for diners. The more casual tourist such as myself will feel more at home on its outdoor terrace across the road, which has its own bar - although there's nothing much outside of its cask selection worth looking at. Pub style parasols.

Harbourside bar with its best feature being the terrace with its views of the marina. Sadly given its prime location, it's not really a beer destination, more for music and good times, and has an uninspiring drinks selection, all macro keg.
