(Draft at Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm, 17 April 2025) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with bread, grass, cereal and herbs. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of bread, grass, citrus, herbal hops and a balanced grassy/herbal bitterness. Medium body, dry. Refreshing and well balanced. Nice one.

(Draft at Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm, 17 April 2025) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark bread, coffee and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with dark bread, liquorice, cacao, coffee and a mild roasty bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and harmonious schwarzbier. Very nice.

(Draft at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 9 April 2025) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, cacao, chocolate, vanilla and dark rum. Malty, roasted, vinous taste with coffee, cacao, dark chocolate, liquorice, dark rum, vanilla and a generous coffee bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Rich and powerful. Very nice.

(Bottle) Golden amber colour with brief, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of red apples, barnyard, orange peel and spices. Fruity, slightly tart taste with dried apples, apricots, orange peel, hay and spices. A slight apple skin harshness. Medium body, semi-sweet. Generous apply acidity. Crisp and well balanced. Nice one.

Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of peaches, stone fruit, grapefruit, mango, pine needles, white bread and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Juicy and refreshing. Very nice.

Fruity taste with citrus, orange, pineapple, mango, grass, white bread and a mild citric/grassy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and juicy. Very nice.

Malty, hoppy taste with notes of apricots, biscuits, dried fruit and a balanced earthy bitterness. Light body, dry. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one.

Fruity, hoppy taste with apricots, citrus, resin, crackers and a balanced citric/floral bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tasty and refreshing, with a fresh hop profile. Nice one.

Nice beer bar and restaurant fairly centrally located in Stockholm. I've been coming here for 20 years or so, so possibly a bit biased. Fairly large place, with a central bar and a dinig area behind the bar. Around 30 taps, some usual suspects, but mainly guest craft beers. Good selaction, usually a handful from small American craft breweries. In the winter they usually have an American theme month, focusing on one of the states. Good bottle selection, some vintage beers. Opens early, serving lunch. Really good food. Good service. Definitely a place to visit.

Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, lemon peel, grapefruit, pine needles, resin, bread and a generous citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Hoppy, citric and quite bitter. Very nice.
