Paleish but slightly translucent golden with a bit of haziness. Average sized white head, recedes quickly but still leaves a layer, no lacing. Weakish aroma with sweetish lemonish notes (meaning they lack the sharp/pungent component) with the faintest grainy note underneath; clean and refreshing enough. Taste notes as per aroma; again, clean and refreshing, a bit on the sweet side even for the style. Very light body, average, fizzy and lively carbonation; very drinkable of course. Does it's job as a refresher.

Slightly darker than usual for a pils, just a hint of haziness. Medium sized white head, good enough retention, not much lacing. Aroma: grainy malts with the slightest biscuity hint, a bit of honey, light grassy hops notes and maybe a floral hint. Average intensity, good definition; feels more like a helles aroma though. And indeed the pilsner hop character is quite subdued in taste too, with notes as per aroma (floral hops showing up a bit more). Light to medium sweetness and light to medium bitterness, none stands out in both taste and aftertaste. Again, good enough intensity and definition, no flaws. Lightish body with average carbonation, quite an easy drinker as mandatorily franconian. Overall: a fair one, but just very slightly a pils in character, could perhaps have scored some 0.2 more in the overall if it was labeled helles or export or something like that.

Pours a quite translucent hazy dark amber. Doesn't get much head, shows decent persistence though. No lacing. Reasonably intense aroma, where a far from restrained sweet malty base (caramel mainly) is followed by soft, jam-like fruity notes (orange most clearly detectable) and by an underlying half grassy, half resinous note. Relatively simple, but pleasantly soft while retaining a nice fresh feeling. Taste notes follow the aroma, plus maybe a hint of rye-like crispness, but the rye component feels overall pretty minimal. Sweetish in both taste and aftertaste (hoppy notes still bring a decent refreshing feel, though), perhaps a bit too sweet in a not too dry finish/aftertaste. Light to medium in body, average carbonation, a very easy drinker for the style. A fine enough one on the overall.

Deepish red, semi trasparent though some particles are floating. Average to good intensity in a simple but pleasantly fresh aroma: a caramel malts base, a fresh underlying resinous feel with stone fruit notes on top of it. Taste doesn't feel as fresh sadly, and also not very polished. There's more conplexity to the hoppy notes though, with grapefruit and white grapes hints complementing the stone fruit component. The sweet/caramel base is not too timid, but there's good overall balance brought by the resinous component; sadly, the finish is quite unclean and not dry enough. Quite light bodied, average or slightly below average carbonation; dunno, feels a bit tired and flat mouthfeel wise. Overall: so, so, perhaps not in it's best condition.

Pours a very deep reddish amber that starts to fade into brown. Average sized, relatively compact head, the slightest off-white, so-so persistence but nice lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: mainly malty with caramel and lighter toasted notes, some fruitiness (kind of candied fruit like, but not very defined), a bit of underlying herbal feel and perhaps a hint of licorice. Taste notes follow the aroma; as for the smell, average intensity, so so definition. Sweetish in the mouth, balanced enough in finish/aftertaste, where a mix of herbal and licorice feel lingers. Medium body, average to high but quite delicate carbonation; a semi-full mouthfeel with a hint of creaminess, average drinkability for the abv. Ok on the overall (excellent price/quality ratio).

Pours deep/dark brown, fading into black but still showing some reddish hints through light. A straightforward smoked aroma (schlenkerla like in terms of intensity), with smoked meat and ashes/burnt wood most noticeable. A dark bread presence on the back of things and maybe a hint of floral hops. Taste confirms good intensity, with a bit more depth to it and a bit more malty presence that gives it a hint of sweet base. But just a hint, as the beer still feels pretty dry (especially for the style) and straightforwardly smoked. Notes of dark bread, perhaps the slightest hint of rye bread-like crispness, quite strong smoked notes (meaty and ashy as per aroma), dry floral hoppiness (more noticeable in finish/aftertaste). Light to medium body, light to medium carbonation, quite easily drinkable with just a hint of softness. Overall: a quite peculiar rauch, intensely smoked (sort of schlenkerla-like, but not as supported by malty sweetness, and thus dried in mouthfeel), a relatively simple taste profile (but a satisfyingly smoky one) and undoubtedly well crafted.
