Can @ the Christianssands Bryggeri. Black body under a small, beige head. Aroma of dark malt, dark chocolate and hint of dry fruits. Taste is sweet, dark, light roasted malt, dark chocolate and moderate bitterness. Balanced body and smooth aftertaste. A nice and calm porter.

Can @ the Christianssands Bryggeri. Unclear golden brown body under an off-white head. Aroma is malty with fruity hops. Taste is nice and smooth with malt, hint of toffee, nice fruity hops and pleasant bitterness. A refreshing and very food friendly beer.

Tap @ the brewpub. Unclear golden body under a medium sizes white head. Mild, malty aroma. Taste is smooth and refreshing with soft malt, moderate bitterness and a fruity touch. Nice and easy.

Superficial tasting at Kristiansand matfestival 2025. Almost clear golden body under a white head. Malty aroma. Taste is sweet, soft malt with some mild bitterness. Surprisingly soft and smooth for a lager at this alcohol strength, no offending alcohol flavor.

Superficial tasting at Kristiansand matfestival 2025. Murky brown body under a small white head. Aroma has mild caramel malt and fry fruits with some acidity. Taste is caramel malt and dry fruits a swell in a smooth and balanced way, nice balance between sweetness and acidity.

Superficial tasting at Kristiansand matfestival 2025. Unclear brown body under a small white head. Aroma is acidic with malt, oak and ripe plum. Taste in the same direction, quite acidic but in a refreshing way. Malt, plum and oak, slightly funky.

Superficial tasting at Kristiansand matfestival 2025. Unclear deep red body almost without any head. Strong aroma of red, ripe fruit and berries with a hint of honey. Taste is sweet with lesser cherry/raspberry than expected from aroma, mild acidity and distinct honey. Long lasting aftertaste with honey and tickling acidity.

Superficial tasting at Kristiansand matfestival 2025. Unclear deep golden body under a small white head. Aroma has concentrated apple at the first sniff, and then the honey appears with a light acidity. The taste follows the same way, starting with apple similar to an ice cider, quite sweet, then smooth honey and mild acidity. Nice and kinda balanced. Believe this would be nice as a dessert with accompanying hard cheese.

Superficial tasting at Kristiansand matfestival 2025. Unclear golden body under a white head. Aroma is distinct malt and bread. Taste is refreshing with distinct malt, some bread and pleasant bitterness which accompanies you all the way to the aftertaste. A quite light, but tasty beer in the pilsner landscape with a small twist.
