Tap @ Melkebaren. Hazy, pale yellow body under a white head. Moderate aroma, not particular fruity, rather strange. Taste is quite plain with some malt, hint of yeast, hint of fruit and moderate bitterness. Medium to light bodied with short aftertaste. Perhaps a bit old as the previous ratings are a lot more optimistic. Well that’s the world of volatile NEIPA.

Tap @ Melkebaren. Hazy yellow golden body under a big white head. Strong aroma of tropical fruits. Taste is smooth and refreshing with tropical juice and some zesty bitterness. Alcohol is well integrated. Fine body with a refreshing aftertaste as well. The best NEIPA I had from the Melkebaren selection this week.

Tap @ Melkebaren. Pale, unclear yellow body under a big, lacing white head. Aroma is rather mild citric fruits in addition to canned fruit syrup. Taste is sweet, light malt, generic citric fruits, low bitterness. Thin body with same aftertaste. Quite plain.

Tap @ Melkebaren. Clear dark golden body under a moderate sized, lacing tan head. Aroma has malt, biscuit and hint of caramel. Taste has sweet malt, some caramel, bread, slightly herbal and moderate bitterness. Medium body and same aftertaste. Quite straight forward but decent.

Can @ home. Beautiful, clear reddish amber body under a big, foamy beige head. Aroma has malt, caramel, fruity hops and a piny touch. Taste is balanced sweet malt with moderate caramel, refreshing fruity hops, a hint of pine and fine bitterness. Balanced body and same aftertaste. Nice and food friendly.

Can @ Telfords. Close to pitch black body under a big, foamy beige head. Aroma has dark malt, roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is very smooth, mild roasted, dark malt, some coffee and dark chocolate and medium bitterness. Balanced body with a smooth, nice aftertaste as well. Nice and tasty stout without any nonsense that shouldn’t be able to offend anyone.

Bottle @ Telfords. Clear dark brown, almost black under a small, lacing beige head. Nice aroma of dark malt, lots of dry fruit and quite vinous with a hint of wood. Taste is strong and super smooth with malt, dry fruit and distinct red vine and a wooden touch. Balanced body with long lasting slightly warming aftertaste, otherwise alcohol is well hidden. Really smooth and pleasant imp stout in the crossing of a barley wine.
