Poured from 330mL bottle. Hazy orangey brown with no head. Mild woody whiskey barrel, belgian yeast, esters and dark fruit, decent, but messy.

Poured from 500mL bottle (thanks Bernie et al - direct from Germany; bb May 29, 2025). Clear blonde gold with small white head. Mild veg note with very feint diacetyl note. Lightly bready, average. Not a complete drain pour, but definitely wouldn't want the whole bottle.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Near black with no head. Boozy cognac and bourbon overlay with a nice thick chocolately malt, very nice.

Poured from 473mL can. Hazy orangey gold with no head. Lots of wood glue, nice nectarine character that gets drowned out by the wood glue unfortunately, dry and unpleasant. Have to drain pour this...

Poured from 500mL (pkg May 26, 2022). Very dark brown with minimal beige head. Lots of coffee with a bit of green pepper on the nose, soft lactose and chocolate luckily covers most of the green pepper on the taste. Decent.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Hazy deep gold with small white head. Mild brett, fairly dry and floral, feint hint of dank hops, hint of oak barrel, overall a touch subdued, but blends nicely. Decent.

Poured from 440mL can (pkg 04/02/2025). Dark brown with small beige head. Aroma of woody esters. Taste of caramel malt, light esters and dried fruits, feint wood, rye spice on the finish. Really comes together as it warms.

Poured from 375mL bottle (thanks Toni CaptainMurphy). Hazed blonde with minimal white head. Tart sour with Sauv Blanc notes upfront, soft salty lemongrass on the backend. Not totally cohesive, but decent.
