Pint can. Toffee malt aroma with notes of toasted malt, caramel, pumpkin, allspice, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. Pours deep toffee brown colored with a thin tan head that has some retention and little lacing. Starts with toffee, earthy pumpkin, clove and nutmeg flavors. Finishes smooth with caramel, allspice and cinnamon flavors. Interesting scotch ale.

Bottle, 2023 vintage. Spicy Belgian yeast aroma with notes of bread, grainy malt, citrus and grassy hops. Pours cloudy golden colored with a finger of white head that has decent retention and good lacing. Starts with bready malt, grainy malt and citrus flavors. Finishes dry, but crisp and refreshing with spicy Belgian yeast and grassy hop flavors. Excellent patersbeir.

Imperial pint can. Orange citrus aroma with notes of orange rind, tangerine, mango, pineapple, grapefruit and floral hops. Pours cloudy golden-orange colored with a large white head that has good retention and decent lacing. Starts with juicy orange, tangerine, mango and pineapple flavors. Finishes smooth but a touch dry with orange rind, grapefruit and floral hop flavors. Pretty decent.

Bomber, 2023 vintage. Chocolate aroma with notes of cherry, coconut, roasted malt, vanilla, whiskey and oak. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention and some lacing. Starts with rich chocolate, cherry, roasted malt and oak flavors as well as having a rich, full body and slick, viscous mouthfeel. Finishes quite smooth with coconut, whiskey and oak flavors. Still quite flavorful after almost 4 years.

Bottle, 2025 vintage. Caramel malt aroma with notes of toffee, dark fruit, toasted malt, cocoa and Belgian Candi sugar. Pours deep caramel colored with half a finger of tan head that has excellent retention and decent lacing. Starts with rich caramel, dark fruit and toasted malt flavors as well as having a rich, full body and smooth mouthfeel. Finishes quite smooth with toffee, Candi sugar and cocoa flavors. Definitely lives up the hype, glad I picked some up while I was there.

Pours hazy golden colored with a finger of white head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with juicy mango, melon, peach and orange flavors. Finishes smooth but a touch dry with passion fruit, grapefruit and grassy hop flavors. Pretty good.

500ml bottle, 2025 vintage. Caramel malt aroma with notes of toffee, dark fruit, vanilla, oak and bourbon. Pours dark caramel colored with a thin tan head that has little retention and very little lacing. Starts with rich caramel, dark fruit and oak flavors as well as having a rich, full body and smooth mouthfeel. Finishes very smooth with toffee, vanilla and bourbon flavors. Very nice barleywine.
