0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeers', bottled in February 2025. Very hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, gently fruity-floral, slightly grassy and a little yeasty aroma of lemon peel, fresh grass, pineapple and light grains. Slightly sweetish, gently bitter, moderately yeasty and slightly fruity-floral taste of grains, hay, lemon peel and some dill, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, rather dry and a little peppery finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Solid Saison, smells a lot fruitier than it tastes, other than that quite rustic.

0.33 l can from 'Craftbeers', best before January 2027. Hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, rather fruity and a bit resiny aroma of mango, orange, pineapple and some vanilla. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity, slightly resiny taste of orange, mango, pineapple, vanilla, some whisky and light pine, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, a little woody finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good IPA, interestingly flavoured by the barrels, very heavy on the oaky vanilla flavours. Definitely one of the better barrel-aged IPA's from Kees.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeers',best before November 2030. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, brown head. Intensely sweetish-malty, quite roasty, slightly fruity aroma of praline, mocha, coconut, raisins and some bourbon. Heavily sweet, malty, fairly roasty, slightly fruity taste of praline, mocha, coconut, vanilla, roasted hazelnut, bourbon and some raisins, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter, slightly warming finish. Full body, smooth and oily mouthfeel, almost flat. Super sweet but also very tasty, yet somehow not completely convincing, maybe too much going on at once.

0.375 l bottle from 'Rebelbeercans', blend no. 57, bottled in March 2022. Hazy, golden orange with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, sourish, rather fruity and quite funky aroma of overripe lemon, horse blanket, gooseberry, oak, leather and hints of mirabelle. Slightly sweetish, gently sour, rather fruity and quite funky taste of overripe lemon, gooseberry, yoghurt, horse blanket, oak, leather, hints of vinegar and light mirabelle, followed by a medium long, quite tart, gently woody-dry finish. Above medium-bodied, gently astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very well-balanced, rather intense but still fairly refreshing Geuze. If you hear 'platinum blend' you expect something from out of this world, it's maybe just not like that but still a fairly remarkable brew.
