The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Shortlived white head over almost still, clear golden beer. Bit spicy, almost peppery, pale malts. Even more peppery in the mouth; malts with a more general spicy background, and a short bitterish finish. Light body, feels a bit undercarbonated all the same. Long-lasting flavours. Nice, but Kellerbier can pack more punch.

Draught Good yellowish head over fully hazy orange-ochre beer. Hints of clove, pine, spruce. Clove, bit pharmaceutical, pine, resin flavours. Quite slick, resin-viscous, good carbonation. Original, though I have had finer spruce beer.

Draught Good yellow head over very lively carbonate veiled orange-golden beer. Very fresh yeast, as hanging over a fermenting vessel. Yeast completely dominating the nose. Fresh beer, again with a lot of yeast(features), if less imposing than in the nose. Very light citrusflavour. Faintly floral. Quite carbonated, spritzy. Faintly slick, but light body. Decent, nothing more.

Draught Foamy white head over cold-hazed, pale amber beer; rings of lace. Served too cold. Fresh pale and toasted malts, green herbs, bit resiny. Sweet caramel malt; sweet for a 11° lager, but the finish is markedly drier, if also quite neutral in taste. Very little body, making the beer seem rather empty. Good carbonation. A tad below average, compared to other Czech lagers recently tried.

Fast gone, cream-coloured head over deep red-brown beer. Old wood, balsamico, utterly out-lagered red fruit, lactic acid. Diary, lactic acid, old wet wood, dried (red) fruit, winecasks. Very dry & tart, bit undercarbonated. Very convincing as an Oud Bruin, just a tad more spritz... Txs to Jitka!

Short lived tinted head over copper, slightly veiled beer. Mild horseblanket, farmyard nose; vinous, winecasks. Sourish, even a bit aggressive compared to the nose; old wood, lactic acid, again some vinous touches (malonic?). Mild carbonation, quite wheatslick, long lasting flavours. Strangely enough (this IS a complex blend), it struck me as an excellent base for further blending. Děkuju, Jitka!

Draught Very thick, ultra dense & stable deep cream head over black beer. Roast, charcoal. Thick head seriously hampers nasal perception; fireplace ashes. Sweet-ish, with a dry main flavour, again goint a little bit towards maltsweetness in the aftertaste. Not very heavily bodied, yet a creamy MF. Well carbonated. Nice black lager, filling yet quite drinkable. Txs to Jitka!

Draught White head, lacey over veiled yellow beer. Sweet malts, leaves, straw, some toast and dry hops. Bitterish, hoppy flavour as onset; then more classical pale malts, if never getting sweet. Light body, gristslick, nowhere empty. This is how anyone can enjoy lager. Txs to Jitka!
