The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Good, bit fluffy amberish tinted head, fast gone over fully hazy dark orange-amber beer. Sharp woody nose, sour, going towards solvent. Green, unripe fruit. Curry herbs, immortelles, hints of wineacids, even winereduction, sulphur. Lactic acid, wet wood, sulphur, horseblanket. Again green fruity, unripe grapes, some dried citruspeel. Hints at tannines, unripe banana; sultanas without sugar. The aftertaste almost becomes earthy - actually the only way the whisky starts coming out. Dry-out effect, quasi astringent. Acidthinning and some -burn. Good carbonation. Not an easy gueuze, certainly compared to Frank Boon's 10. This one is way more severe, hard, and what's more, keeps its strenght (only 0.5% less) hidden.

Small if persistent whitish head over (cold)hazed golden beer. Aromatic hops, citruspeel, green and sweeter apples, lupulin. Nectarine, sweeter fruit and a hint of lupulin in the mouth. Lunaria. Sweet(ish) lime, if that makes sense. Apples are pretty hidden flavourwise. Spritzy, good carbonation, refreshing. Medium bodied. In the end, more beer than cider IMHO. And nowhere bad. A scourge for all snakebites. Txs to Stef!

Huge, very dense & fine off-white head over hazy orange-golden beer, very lively carbonated. Rubber, basketshoes, and then an explosion of horseblankte, immortelles, mushrooms, kari leaves, laurel. Sweetish (the alcohol working!), immortelles, horseblanket, again a wild mushroom flavour, oakleaves. Quantum level complexity. Hay and some faint leatherpolish in the aftertaste, together with some not really-sweet apples. Very good carbonation, slick, slight acidburn. Alcohol only revealed by the light sweetness. Arguably one of the most stellar gueuzes ever. Txs to Stef!

Shortlived greyish head, soon completely gone over red-tainted black beer. Nutty, fusels, some sweet roast, almonds, benzene. Rosewater, almonds, more roast. Quite sweet main flavour. Again fusely, alcoholsweetness. Sticky, oily feel. Alcoholburn and low carbonation. Certainly not bad, but there is better, in their own portfolio, and on top of that, we had an obviously more refined domestic product before. Txs to Stef!

Greige head with purplish sheen over orange-brown rimmed black beer, pouring viscously. Booze, wood, charcoal, roast, sweet liqueur. Roast, vanilla, cream, coffee (especially retronasal). Sweet, if nowhere cloying. Very late, a more pronounced coffeeflavour appears. Very well-bodied, some alcohol, slick-oily. Good carbonation. Tiramisu, Amaretto... I feared the worst. But then, it proved to be quite good, and even grew on me. Pastry on the next level.

Head soon reduced to faint white rim. Finely carbonated golden beer. Peach jam-filled Belgian buns. There is a smell of cocos too. Bounty bar with peach. Positively awful. Hint of some peach skin, almost giving a hint of fruitacid... but in the end... Fruitslick. Medium carbonation. Bit sticky. Oh Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do. Txs to Stef
