A fairly small, square space with some light ambiance due to decorations. Service was mid: it was fine but the bartender didn’t seem to really care if we were there or not. Beers were fine and selection was varied but a little uninspired. Honestly, not really a place I’d seek out again but at the same time there was something that did endear itself. I can’t say I loved the experience but glad we went.

Slightly cloudy bright golden with a white head. Citrus, bright tropical notes, sweet and soft fresh fruit, light melon, a touch of sweet cream. Medium bodied. Finish has a nice citrus snap and a touch of bitterness. It’s a nice, bright pale ale.

Deep brown with a tan head. Toasted malts, a bit of earth, caramel is intense. Full bodied. Finish is sweet and caramel with toasted notes. What the crap is this? Not a Baltic Porter. Woof.

At the CLT Club, Charlotte airport. Orange with a white head. Citrus with malt and a soapy note. Oof, that soap is killing the beer. Medium bodied. Decent start but the soap ends it.

I find it hilarious how many of these ticks are from the CLT Club at the Charlotte airport. Mine is another entry into that long and storied lineage.
Copper with a white head. Malt forward with spicy noble hops, minerals, toasted. Medium bodied. Finish has a nice snap to it. A fine beer.

Opaque yellow with a white head. Tropical fruits, citrus, somewhat dank. Sweet oat but in a reserved manner. Finish is tangy. Full body. Good for the style.

A definite hotel bar with all the character and ambiance that goes with it … or lack thereof. Still, 80 taps and usually some solid stuff, though as is the case with most bars with this many taps 65 or so of them are not worth your time. You’ll see plenty of the local stuff that maybe isn’t the highest tier along with the national classics (Bells, 3 Floyds). Decent.
