Can at home picked up from Hotm . Atranslucent golden orange coloured pour with a lively frothy white head. Aroma is soft floury wheat, grassy citrus, waxy citrus. Flavour is composed of soft bready, wheat, leafy citrus, lemon rind, waxy notes, Bready. Palate is soft wheat, fizzy carbonation, little bitter lemon rind.

Can at home picked up from Hotm. A clouded golden orange coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is lovely big dank onion, chive, creamy wheat, oats, waxy citrus, green mango, crayons. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, creamy slick oats, green mango, waxy dank, onions, firm bitterness, green citrus. Big and bold, Palate is semi sweet, creamy, slick, moderate carbonation. Nice stuff.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A mid hazed orange golden coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is soft wheat, light caramel, midget gems, orange, tangerine, Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, wheat, orange rind, Soft fruit citrus bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, light oily, highish carbonation.

Bottle at home picked up from Waitrose, Goucester road. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is nice floral citrus, lychee, bready grains, midget gems, tangerine. Flavour is composed of light earthy grains, straw, floral citrus, light mineral, lychee, pear. Palate is semi sweet, light mineral , fine carbonation. Good stuff.

Bottle at home picked up from Waitrose. A jet black brown coloured pour with a decent khaki head. Aroma is lovely nice resinous hop, tar, pine, bark, some mellow ashy roast, liquorice. Flavour is composed of nice rich roast, bitter liquorice, resinous hop, bark, rich bitter roast, singed pine, sap. Palate is medium bodied, hop resin, oily, moderate carbonation. Huge flavour. Cracking beer.

Can at home picked up from Waitrose Gloucester road. A jet black oily coloured pour with a fading light tan head. Aroma is burnt sugars, liquorice, char, burnt cakey malts, some hot alochol, some boozy dried fruit. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, burnt cake ends, dried fruit, boozy dried fruit, charred sugars, liquorice, Lingering bitter harsh roast. Palate is semi sweet, oily, fine tickly carbonation.
Big and bold bit lacks refinement.

Bottle at home picked up from the Kernel tap room. 4.5% . A opaque black brown coloured pour with a lasting magnolia creamy head. Aroma is dry woody roast, nice warming char, singed pine, sap, bark. Nice. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody bark, woody pine, tar, Palate is semi sweet, little thin, moderate mellow carbonation. Nice rich hoppy stout.

Can at home picked up from Waitrose Gloucester road. A clear golden coloured pour with a decent frothy white head. Aroma is nutty, waxy grains, grass, stewed hop, green cereal grains. Flavour is composed of thin earthy cereal grains, grass, stewed hops, numbing hop, firm dirty hop bitterness. Palate is little thin, moderate fine carbonation. Not bad.
