@ RBBWG 2016. Many thanks! Red/pink colour, white foam. Sweet nose of sugar, cherry and perfume. Light bitterness. Some tartness. Not the best fruit beer.

Bottle sample @ RBBWG 2016, thanks Tim.

Bottle at RBBWG 2016 in Antwerpen, bottled in July 2015. Slightly hazy, deep red with a fluffy, white head. Sourish-fruity, minimally funky aroma of cherries, raspberries, and sorbet powder. Sweetish-sourish, fruity taste of cherries, raspberries and sorbet powder, followed by a short, moderately tart finish. Thin to medium body, spritzy and moderately astringent mouthfeel. Nice!

Note: RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE "champagne beer": €13.06
Little hazy pink-purple beer, creamy irregular off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, bit sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity touch, some tannins, little bitter, cherries. Aftertaste: tannins, fruity, yeast, little bitter, bit spicy.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy red with a small pink head. Aroma is overripe fruity. Cherry. Dry. Fruity. Phenolic and dense fruity. Sweet and fruity. Lingering smooth fruity and vague sweet finish.

Bottle sampled at Essen Winterbier festival 2015. Appears cloudy red with a medium pink head. Aroma of gravy, English roast dinner (but not in a very good way) and perfume notes. This is a weird damn kriek. Flavour is moderate sweet. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Thank you! Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2015. Ingredients include corn amongst all thing, bloody hell. Looks like their regular kriek that underwent the Methode champenoise. Limited to 3000 bottles, numbered on top. Deep red, light pink head. Nose is fizzy cheap spoiled yoghurt, dull industrial cherry, candy, cherry soy yoghurt, more spoiled cherry than kriek for me. Taste is dull fizzy yoghurt, white sugar, something spoiled, spoiled cherries, cherry soy yoghurt, candy,… Dull fizzy yoghurt body. Complete marketing rubbish & apparently quite expensive (obviously), I liked the regular version more than this exercise in style over substance.

Bottle at the Essen Winter Beer Festival, 2015. Poured a reddish pink colour with a frothy pink head. The aroma is skunky malt, sweaty socks, light fake sugar. This does not smell right at all. The flavour is moderate sweet with a tart cherry, yeast bitter palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation.
