Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2016. Deep amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of sweetish malts and a touch of hedgerow fruit, with a whiff of leafy hop. Flavour had sweetish, biscuity, malts, some more fruit and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Deep amber in hue. Pretty flat and quite thin for the abv. Some sweet chocolate and fruitiness is hidden behind a load of stone and metal. Dry finish as you’d expect from a beer apparently made of rocks. Didn’t like it- was it meant to taste like this...?

Cask @ Up Steps Inn, Oldham. Glowing darker copper coloured ale with a small creamy head. Crisp but quite neutral in taste with a very light sweetened fruitiness just about evident -palatable all the same with some of its strength apparent and some malts in its nose.
