Brewed at Tired Hands Brewing Company, an IPA brewed with oats and lactose sugar. Fermented atop strawberries (a high pectin fruit) and vanilla beans. Hopped intensely with Mosaic and Citra. We also added wheat flour and 50 lbs. of local apples (a high pectin fruit) to the boil. Brewed in collaboration with Omnipollo.

16oz can pours a murky orange, sticky white head. Nose has melon, vanilla, orange sherbet, honey comb. Flavor is the same with some sweet breakfast cereal. Don't really get much strawberry. Finishes creamy, low bitterness. 8 4 7 4 14

Canned 11/10/17, drunk 12/9/17.
Soupy, soft rosy-peach-golden. Frothy, off-white head recedes immediately to nothing.
No strawberry in the nose, but plenty of hop character. Nectarine, grapefruit, pineapple and light pine all give a good NE IPA rendition and it's not full of the lactose, thankfully. Still, it has that creamy, lightly milky character that the "style" is known for. Low resin and no alcohol with lingering fruity hops and lots of juice character.
In the mouth it shows well attenuated strawberry, leaving only very light tartness and soft, almost floral and red berry notes. Tons of juicy pineapple, mango, lime and grapefruit with a very soft, creamy, wheat-heavy texture that shows mostly engaging carbonation and good attenuation of the malt. No alcohol or flaw. Bit of blandness from wheat and yeast, though I wouldn't call it doughy or messy. Lactose is light.

Can: Poured a hazy milkshake type yellow color ale with good carbonation. Aroma of citrusy and fruity hops with residual sugar notes and faint notes of strawberry. Taste is also a mix of citrusy hops notes with some fruity notes, subtle vanilla with some faint strawberry notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Very refreshing and easy to drink.

16 oz. can. Hazy "milkshake. Appearance. Yep, trying this for the 1st time. Aroma is mostly hops, oats, and mild grass. Um, no strawberries at all anyplace. Very strange that Jean named it this. (If you don't know the story of the milkshake IPA, educate yourself sucka!) it took me a long time to try this mostly because it is a total joke as a retaliation to the stupid Beer Advocate dick brothers. Whatever... This beer works as an IPA but certainly not something to get your panties in a wad about.

28/VI/17 - 1Pt. can @ home - BB: n/a, canned: IV/19/17 (2017-959) Thanks to ElManana+1 for sharing the can!
Very cloudy murky beige beer, small creamy irregular off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice stuff, bit resinous, very fruity, lots of tropical fruits, bit cheesy, dank touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, lactose sweetness, pretty bitter, mango, no strawberries though, some bubble gum, frutella candy (maybe this is the strawberry flavour). Aftertaste: sweet, lactose, bit dank, some marijuana, sourish, some citric acidity, lovely stuff, passion fruit, bitter touch.

(On tap @ Warpigs, Copenhagen, May 11/17) Pours a quite hazy dark gold with a stable white head. Bright fresh strawberry character, milky lactose quality, some vanilla, zippy citrus from the hops, a bit leafy, moderate sweetness, quite low bitterness, not pure milkshake but still channels that vibe, one of the better strawberry beers I’ve had. Medium body, light to moderate carb, a little viscous but not too creamy. Fun stuff, definitely superior to the De Proef-brewed version, a good summery feel.
