Mørkt surt øl, ikke brent. Nydelig, ikke for søtt. Seriøst komplekst. Tar gjerne flere flere av denne!

Bottle from Wine & Cheese. Pours dark brown with a transient head. Aroma is BFM mixed with cola. Med body. Flavor is lightly sour, darkish malt, darkish fruit, and some muddled earthiness. No where near so harsh as most BFM ales, but in that concept. Easy drinker for an Alvinne.

Shared bottle with RB/HD at Tau 01.11.16. A gusher by surprise! Dark brown. Dense and persistent pale brown head and lacing. Funky aroma of rotting caramel and berries. Acidic taste and mouthfeel. Very dry.

Fra flaske på RBHD-samling på Tau nov-16: gusher - skikkelig wild ale! Brunsvart med tett skum. Syrlig bæraroma og smak, rips, bringebær, stikkelsbær og sure epler. Deilig. Litt for brusende munnfølelse. Flott, bæraktig ettersmak.

Sampled from a 0.33l bottle @ Haandfest 2015. This is a dark cola brown one, a small islandy dark beige head on the top. Smells mild. Some tartness here, soft hints of dusty chocolate and wood. Mild but nice. Lots of flavor here. Sour powder, it had a nice oily texture in the mouth and a almost fizzing carbonation level. Really tart without being too much. Balanced and tasty, but today, I doubt I'd make it through a hole bottle of this on my own. Nice 30.05.2015

Deep brown coloured brew with plenty of foam. Worthy to note that it needs a good chilling lest you lose some via gushing.
Very acidic smell with both a fruity and vinegar like sourness. Some of a hoppy nose seeks through though I can’t give it a decent descriptor.
Fruity sour, quite acidic, a healthy malt sweetness, complexity is the nature of this beast whilst the alcohol is on the timid side.
Medium body, slick mouthfeel, excellent Flemish Brown all around. Too bad it’s retired; reasonably priced is another plus.
