Draught from Mikkeller DK - yellow orange pour, floral spicy and very refereshing. Well camou’d alcohol. Winey sweet and sour.

Bottled. A bit hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is white wine, some grapes, pear, sour wood and mild floral tones. Flavour is sweet malts, some grapes, white wine, oak, mild elderflower and honey tones to it. Mild acidity to it, but rather pleasant and refreshing.

Aus der Flasche im 2014-08 getrunken. Deutliche Note von Eichenfässern. Doch ob da ein Wein oder was auch immer drin war kann ich nicht sagen. Ich bin skeptisch ob sich ein Barrel Aged bei Saisonbieren wirklich lohnt. Das Bier selbst wird klar von der Eiche des Faßes dominiert, was dieses handwerklich sehr gutes Bier etwas schwer macht zu trinken. Klare Pluspunkte in der Nase.

Bottle 0.375l. Cloudy, pale amber colored. AROMA- aged character, vinous, caramel. FLAVOR- neutral, pleasantly bitter, a bit fruity, peach, touch of citrus, biscuits, touch of pear. Fuller bodied.

Fra fat på Mi2 Cardinal nov-17: kveldens første øl, og dette lover godt! Litt uklar korngylden med flott skum som varer. Lett og elegant, vinøs aroma og smak med krydder, lyse frukter, gule epler og hint av stall. Halvtørr avslutning med god, krydret bitterhet. Mersmak!

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy light amber with off-white head. Aroma of oranges,, pine and resin, some malty notes, ethanol. Tastes pretty sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied, bitter finish.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Golden colour, large white head. Aroma of white wine and spicy saison yeast. Slightly dry flavour, again notes of spicy saison yeast, hints of white wine, some hops.
