Mill St Belgian style Wit is a refreshing beer made with a unique blend of ingredients. The soft texture and pale colour comes from the use of wheat. Coriander, orange peel and our special yeast produce the complexity and depth of fruity flavours contained within the glass. This beer is unfiltered. The resulting cloudiness gave rise to the term Wit, or White beer

On tap at the Brewpub. Cloudy, deep yellow with a thin but persistent head. Rich wheat malt aroma, with orange, spices, banana, strong citrus notes. Thick, rich wheat flavor, somewhat like a big hefeweizen, but spiced like a Belgian wit. Very cake-like. Huge bananas. Thick but spritzy-clean palate. Very nice, merging the Bavarian and Belgian styles to some extent.

Pale opaque yellow. Lemony, peachy, orangey aroma with light spice and some wheatiness. Assertive citrus, quite tart and wheaty. Subtle coriander at the back, and fairly dry.

Bottle, Many thanks to Ian (Harrisoni) for this beer, cheers mate. Pours hazy orange with small head, quite lively. Crisp and refreshing some banana and yeast and some fresh citrusy fruitinees in the mouth bit of spice there as well. Nice.

Bottle at HogTownHarry Fest 08. Hazy/cloudy pale gold with thin white head. Soapy cereal, some orange spice. Good carbonation, not too much cereal. Nice citrus sting on finish, bit of clementines. Mixed spice finish. Excellent wit.

Bottle: Poured a yellow color ale with some white hue with a medium foamy head with average retention and subtle ring of lacing. Aroma of wheat with some very subtle coriander and some sourness. Taste is a mix between some medium wheat malt notes with some very subtle spice mix. The whole thing is unfortunately dominated by some sourness which might be explained by some infection. It is kind of surprising since I thought I had a fresh batch.

A golden wit with a thick creamy lacing white head. A very pleasant aroma of blood oranges, cloves and caramel. In mouth, a decent light wit with sweet wheat malt, orange peels and light bubble gum. Medium bodied. Sampled on tap at the Wellington Gastropub, Ottawa.
