Bag in a box at Carnival Inn (JDW), Bridgwater. Nov 2015. Pours slightly hazed pale yellow. Apple-y aroma and taste (there's a surprise), drying finish. Medium body with low carbonation. OK

Draught from Number Twenty2 Darlington. Pale golden colour, no head and aroma of tangy apple. Taste is fruity apple, mellow, bittersweet, with some tartness and drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bag in a box at County Hotel Ashford jdw. Hazy pale gold no head. Some apple juice quite dry. Decent single varietal. Certainly got some character. A little tannin. Apple skins flavour. Some dryness. Pretty tasty.

Bag-in-a-box at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Pale and slightly hazy; a simple appley aroma and taste - which is similar to other Dabinett cider’s I’ve tried; and a drying finish. Rather plain and simple compared to some of the other ciders on offer at this festival, but still a good solid offering.

Bag in Box @ Red Eye Cider Festival, Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy yellow with minimal aroma. Taste is a bit odd, watery with stale flavours, no discernible Dabinett flavours to speak of. Can’t imagine this was the intended result.
