Vandervelden 135 Oude Geuze is a blend of 1-year-old lambic aged on foeders that were previously used for mainly red Brunello di Montalcino Tuscany wine and of 3-year-old lambic on an old Oud Beersel foeder.

Bottle, orange gold with a thin head. Super funky nose with a bit of rubber tire. Similar to the 137 bit a bit smoother, more balanced, very nice Tannins and red wine notes, quite drinkable - very complex. Really a hit.

Bottles, huge thanks Stefan. Misty golden, white head, fleeting. Fantastic funky, citric, light barrel, lovely aroma. Smooth tart-bitterish taste, but more soft, funky-herbal, hugely sessionable. Excellent!

Bottle, danke Stefan. Hazy golden, white foam. Fresh bretty nose, light wineskin and wood. Medium light mellow. Light wood, a hint almond, grape, pinenut, quick finish, light bubblegum retronasal.

Bottle shared with the KL Tasting Crew. Poured a hazy golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeast, funky, fresh apples, horse blanket. The flavour is moderate sour, light sweet, with a crisp, oaky, vinous, citrus fruit palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
